VET credit transfer
VET credit transfer in the WACE is the delivery of one or more units of competency from a nationally recognised training package that occurs independently to course curriculum delivery.
It contributes as unit equivalence towards the WACE dependant on the number of nominal hours linked to units of competency that have been achieved.
It may include:
- School Based Traineeships (SBT)
- School Based Apprenticeships (SBA)
Information on Western Australian nominal hours for VET units of competency is available on the VETinfoNet website: http://www.vetinfonet.det.wa.edu.au/home/
