Guide to Grades
The Guide to Grades package is an easy-to-use online tool to support teachers in assessing and reporting on student achievement.
The Guide to Grades package includes grade descriptions and annotated work samples, which illustrate characteristics of student achievement from A to C at each stage of a course across a range of assessment types.
Teachers can use the information in the Guide to Grades package to assist in making judgements about student achievement and allocating grades for each stage of a particular course. Grades are allocated at the end of a unit or semester based on the rank order of students. Grades should not be allocated to individual assessments.
