University studies programs

Students enrolling in university studies will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills in a university setting and obtain credit towards the WACE. While results of university units cannot be used in the calculation of a tertiary entrance rank, the learning may help students gain a higher mark in their assessments in associated council-developed courses, or address an area of interest not otherwise available.

University studies could also be used to extend students and aid in the transition to tertiary studies.

A satisfactory pass in a standard semester university unit will be deemed equivalent to one endorsed unit.
