- There is no Stage 2 examination in the Indonesian: Background Speakers course.
- The Stage 3 examination will be available for the first time in 2009.
- Students will sit the Stage 3 examination in the year they exit the course.
- WA will use the NSW examination for the Stage 3 examination.
- The WA examination will be at the same time as the interstate examination.
