School assessment

Guidelines to assist the implementation of a school assessment policy are included in the support materials and professional development being provided to teachers.

Assessment in 2008

Teachers submit a grade for each student enrolled in a unit at the end of the school year.

Grading support consensus meetings provide opportunities to discuss how schools award grades.

Schools offering D and E code subjects use the existing assessment requirements for these subjects.
