Table 5

Schools with the Highest Performing Candidates in each WSA Subject

For each Wholly School Assessed (WSA) subject, the percentage of students who achieved an A grade is calculated.  The schools are then ranked according to this percentage.  The 10 schools with the highest percentage are listed.  To be entered in this table, schools must have at least 12 students in a WSA subject.  Schools are presented in alphabetical order.

The list recognises the strength of achievement of schools in a particular subject.  The list does not discriminate between schools with high or low enrolment in the subject.  Schools with low enrolment may demonstrate anomalous results in any given year.  Some subjects may have less than 10 schools offer the subject.  In this case, all schools, regardless of their performance, will be included in the list of top 10.

Students are treated as if they belong to the school at which they were enrolled for individual subjects.  The results of private students at a school are not included.  Subject listings do not include schools where less than 10% of students had A grades.  Subjects not listed have no eligible schools.

Canning College, Cyril Jackson Senior Campus, North Lake Senior Campus, Tuart College, overseas schools and SIDE are omitted from the list.
