Evaluation of the 2009 TEE and WACE examination papers.
Teachers and students are invited to send comments on this year's examination papers to the Curriculum Council, using this online form. Both positive comments and constructive criticism are welcome. These comments will assist next year's examining panels and will assist the Curriculum Council's committees in evaluating the 2009 examination papers.
Comments should be about the specific content of the examination papers.
The following areas for comment are suggested.
- Relevance to the syllabus: was the paper a fair and balanced assessment of the syllabus?
- Levels of difficulty: was the paper at an appropriate overall level of difficulty? (Remember that questions in some papers may need to vary from very easy to very hard to give all students a chance to show what they have achieved.)
- Length of the paper: in your judgement, would a student of average ability be able to complete the paper in the time allowed?
- Errors: were there any mistakes in the paper? Please focus on genuine errors (e.g. textual errors, reproduction of diagrams, and layout of paper) and not on issues of style or personal preference.
- Other comments as appropriate.
Please complete this section to supply personal details in case the Council needs to follow up your evaluation. Data collection for this evaluation will be completed on 24 December 2009. Please note, only one subject/course can be commented on at a time.
